I have a new hero.
Thanks to Allison Arieff’s blog in the New York Times, I have been introduced to the ludicrous brilliance of Steven M. Johnson, an illustrator, inventor, author, and clearly, a contrarian and a status quo changer.
He dreams of accessories with a purpose. Cars that could cook your breakfast, desks that become beds, and more importantly, different solutions for critical problems such as homelessness and urban planning.
Some are funny to think about and clearly unrealistic. Others are legitimate solutions to real problems and the direct result of thinking differently, even thinking ludicrously.
